Visa information

As of October 2012.

Visas are not required by GCC passport holders.

Passport holders from the following countries listed below can obtain a two week visa on arrival at Bahrain International Airport at a cost of BD5 (US$13).

These visas can be extended by the organisers at the Exhibition Centre subject to approval by the Bahraini authorities. Exhibitors should ensure that they carry a letter of authority from their company referring to the exhibition plus onward or return air tickets.

Passport holders from countries not listed above are requested to complete the Visa Application Form and return it to Arabian Exhibition Management together with clear copies of relevant passport pages.

A charge of BD 21 (US$56) is payable in advance and is listed in the application form. The organisers cannot be held responsible for any visitor who fails to obtain a visa as they are issued entirely at the discretion of the Bahraini authorities.

By resolution of the Arab League, no Arab State recognises the validity of a passport containing Israeli stamps.

Journalists and Media

Members of the media are required to register for a media visa in advance of their visit to Bahrain. Applications should be made directly to the Department for Foreign Media at the Bahrain Information Affairs Authority.
